Posts I commented on today:
(In case you missed the reason for this, I participated in the A to Z Blogging Challenge in April, and though I posted every day, I was lousy at visiting and commenting on other participants’ blogs. So for each day in May, I’ve vowed to visit and comment on three posts from the various blogging communities whose members have supported my efforts. At least one post MUST be from a new blog I haven’t yet visited.)
R–Random Acts of Kindness (The Single Dad Pad)  new blog of the day
Day (452)–Nobody…Yet (The Better Man Project)
Tiger Beetle (the squirrel nutwork)

Hi Dreamin’! Thanks so much for pinging us. We are just figuring this out and it looks like a good thing to do. Keep up the May follow-up on the A to Z, we love it! Nutmeg

I was several days into May before I realized that posting links to other people’s (squirrels’) blogs was causing a pingback. I’m still figuring this out, too!

Now this makes me happy. It may sound silly, but I still get excited when I see that other people have taken a moment to read my little blog. Thank you so much for mentioning it!

I read through some of your posts and I have really enjoyed them. I know for a fact that I’ll be back often, and hopefully I can make writing more of a consistent part of my daily routine like you have.

Making a public commitment to writing daily was something I needed to do–I’d been away from writing of any sort for too long, and I didn’t trust myself to stick to the commitment without some kind of accountability. There have been days when I would have skipped writing if I hadn’t made that public promise…and there’d be my consistency down the drain!!
