For the last day of the June Photo a Day Challenge, Chantelle wanted to see handwriting. Well, I wasn’t sure what to write until I saw the weekend’s Trifextra Challenge:
This weekend we are asking you to play around with the following quote:
Three things in human life are important. The first is to be kind. The second is to be kind. And the third is to be kind.
–Henry JamesWe want you to follow the same general structure of the above quote. Feel free to change the subject–tell us what’s important about coffee or houseplants or whatever you’d like. Or else change up the modifier–instead of telling us what’s important, tell us what’s sexy or overrated or pernicious. Your last three lines should closely echo James’s, giving us the same answer three times.

clever! I am a fan of a handwritten note and try to send one out now and again. You have lovely penmanship. Sister Anastasia would have given you at least an A- 🙂 (because she NEVER gave an A+)

Handwriting was always my worst subject…if you look closely you’ll notice that it’s not entirely cursive…there are quite a few printed letters thrown in the mix. Plus I could never get the slant just right. Straight Cs in handwriting–devastating for an otherwise A student! 🙂

I like the presentation of this! Sadly, my handwriting is horrible. However, I do write notes in Christmas cards. It would sure be easier to print out the “look-how-great-my-family-is” form letter, but I always said I wouldn’t do that 🙂

I combine both in Christmas cards…the things I’m going to tell everyone go into a printed letter, but each recipient gets a hand-written personalized note as well. I hope it makes each one feel that I am sending the card because I want to, and not just stuffing envelopes out of a sense of obligation!
