Geyser erupting through a hole in the earth’s crust
Forging through the flood
Reykjavik through a clock tower
Last glimpse of Holland through the ferry porthole
Navigating a narrowboat through the tunnel
Through the garden gate
Thousands of króna seen through crystal clear water
A duck’s butt poking through pond grass

I’m playing along once again with Ailsa’s weekly photography challenge, presented each Friday on Where’s my backpack? This is a collection of “through” photographs I’ve taken this year.

A bald spot, hidden beneath the boldest comb-over I’ve ever seen.
Big Ben and Tower Bridge, hidden in Keukenhof Gardens, Belgium, until warmer weather coaxes the tulips to bloom.
A kitty (I think) hidden in the cool shadows of a derelict car.

 

Ailsa at Where’s my backpack? has issued a new challenge, asking participants to share their photographic interpretations of “hidden.”

I am frantically trying to get the house ready for the movers who are coming next week, so I could do with a bit of simplicity about now. This week, Ailsa’s photo challenge on her blog Where’s my backpack? is all about clean, simple photographs. Here are a few that I think fit the bill…
